Unemployment will increase by agri mechanization, not right

Unemployment will increase with the mechanization of agriculture, not right. Instead, the farmers have been able to take the boro paddy of Haor home without any loss due to mechanization. There are many innovations in the agricultural sector. If it can be used properly, the agriculture of the country will go further.

In a keynote address at the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC) auditorium at Farmgate in the capital on Wednesday (January 13th), the keynote address was delivered by the SDG Chief Coordinator of Prime Minister Office Juena Aziz said these things.

Secretary of Agriculture in a special guest speaker Mesbahul Islam said the supply of nutritious food should be increased. The Ministry of Agriculture is doing a lot of work keeping the agricultural policy in mind. The ministry is working towards the agriculture of developed Bangladesh. Advanced technology is needed to double production. 

Therefore, emphasis should be laid on advanced agricultural research. Agriculture needs to be modernized and commercialized to increase production. Production costs must be reduced. In agriculture, the youth will actually change the picture of agriculture in Bangladesh, Mesbahul added.

BARC's executive chairman Dr. Sheikh Mohammad Bakhtiyar gave a welcome speech in the presidency of the Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture. Md. Abdur Rauf. Joint Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office (SDG) presented 5 articles at the workshop. Monirul Islam, NGO Bureau nominated IDE Bangladesh representative. Afzal Hossain Bhuiyan, FAO Representative Farzana Binte Ferdous, Fisheries and Livestock Ministry Deputy Secretary Md. Abdur Rahman and SM Imrul Hasan, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture.
